An elected MP in Nyamira County has launched a fresh fight with Governor John Nyagarama.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi argued that Governor Nyagarama has turned to be a cartel colluding with few individuals to embezzle public funds.
"Nyamira locals have not tested the fruits of devolution because Governor Nyagarama has condoned corruption in his administration. He must wake up and serve the people of Nyamira who elected him," he noted.
Mr Momanyi said he won't keep quiet for Governor Nyagarama to continue mismanaging the county.
The vocal lawmaker confirmed that he is will work close with elected MPs in the county to push Governor nyagarama to perform.
"I will mobilize my colleagues to push Nyagarama to work for our people and not serving the interests of few individuals. Devolution must reach our people in deep villages," he added.
The Wiper elected MP urged Nyamira residents to ensure they are making good choices in 2022.
"Nyamira voters should not make mistakes again when it comes to electing leaders. Leaders must be weighed properly before being elected into office," said Momanyi.
The lawmaker challenged Nyamira MCAs to stop opening their stomachs to eat alone while common residents are suffering in villages across the county.
