Several leaders across the political divide and religious sect attended the burial of the late James Oduor Radido, famously known in football circles as Odu Cobra at Ukwala, in Ugenya constituency on Saturday.

Among them was Siaya Senator James Orengo and Rarieda Member of Parliament Paul Otiende Amollo.

Also in attendance was the immediate former MP of the area Chris Karan whose elections were nullified by the supreme court and Gem Member of Parliament Elisha Odhiambo Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna.

Odu Cobra famed for the popular Wadau TV YouTube channel was among the 21 people who died after terrorists attacked the DusitD2 Hotel in 14 Riverside, Nairobi on January 15.

He used the online platform to discuss various topics in relation to the Kenya Premier League (KPL) and the Kenyan football in general.

Apart from being an ardent football fan and a player, he was an employee of the South Korean LG Company with the firm’s Kenyan offices based in a building adjacent to the DusitD2 hotel.

He was at work when terrorists attacked.

The late James Oduor Radido leaves behind a wife and two young children.

His wife, Diana Rose Otieno was overcome by grief during the burial ceremony and lost of words wondering what she was going to tell the children about their dad's absence.

Oduor played for various teams, among them Hippos FC and the Kisumu Diaspora FC.
