Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka and ex-South Mugirango Member of Parliament Omingo Magara have agreed to join hands together ahead of the 2022 polls.
The two leaders on Friday attended a burial of David Tamaro Abuya, the proprietor of Tabaka Academy at Tabaka Ward, in South Mugirango Constituency where they agreed to work together.
MP Onyonka said he will support Magara in his bid to become the next senator in the county while Magara also assured that he will mobilize the people of South Mugirango to rally behind MP Onyonka who will be running for the Kisii governor seat.
"I will work with my brother Magara to develop Kisii county. All I request is the support from voters in 2022," said Onyonka.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that he will be elected Governor in 2022 and Magara be elected the senator.
On his part, Mr Magara assured MP Onyonka full support in his bid to become the next governor.
"I if elected senator and Mr Onyonka elected governor, the people of Kisii will not have to worry because development will be a priority. We are a better choice since they do not want to elect people who will not be helpful to the county after the elections," said Magara.
