Buyu says that the family should not bury her yet until her killers are arrested and taken to court.

Speaking to journalists in Kisumu on Sunday, Buyu said that Sharon is crying for justice and should not be laid to rest until her killers are identified and punished.

“We appeal to the family of the deceased to delay burial plans as we push for justice to be rendered to her,” she said.

Buyu asked the police and the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji to speed up investigations.

She said that Kenyans are looking on the police to identify and arrest the killers.

Investigations into Sharon's murder have intensified with elite DCI officers conducting a thorough probe into her gruesome murder.

An autopsy report released last week revealed that she was stabbed eight times and was raped severally.

The autopsy also revealed that Sharon's unborn baby was wounded  by the stabs and died.

Sharon’s family has linked Governor Okoth Obado to her shocking murder. She is reportedly said to have been romantically involved with the Migori Governor.

Governor Obado has however refuted claims that he had a hand in Sharon's murder.

Obado’s Personal Assistant Michael Oyamo is among suspects being held by the police in connection to the murder.

DPP Noordin Haji says that anyone implicated in the murder will be punished.
