Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz's father Mzee Abdul Juma has confirmed his son's lover Tanasha Donna has given birth.
In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday by Udaku TZ, Mzee Juma said Tanasha gave birth a few days ago.
He, however, was not sure whether it was a baby boy or a girl.
"Am not sure he is a baby boy but what I know it is true she gave birth, it is like two days ago. (Sidhani kama mtoto ni wa kiume lakini mpaka saa hizi ni ukweli kashajifungua ni kama siku ya pili hivi)," said Mzee Juma
Speculations were rife that the NRG presenter had given birth to a bouncing baby boy but had decided to keep it a secret.
On Wednesday last week, a baby's photo emerged online before it was linked to Tanasha. The photo went viral consideration the fame Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha enjoy.
This forced Tanasha to take it on social media where she said the baby boy's photo was not hers. She, however, did not deny having given birth.
“Hey, ya’l hope all is well. Thought I should set the record straight that this is NOT my child,” she had said.
The baby marks Tanasha's firstborn and Diamond's baby number four. The couple are yet to marry.
