Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko has warned Kenyans of a conman using his name.
The city boss has cautioned people against a loan app with his name.
"Sonko Mkopo Extra" is a fake app with his name to seduce people into using it.
According to Sonko, the person running the app seems to be known. More so, he has been arrested severally but he is not giving up on his guest to steal from unsuspecting people.
"Beware of this conman. Whenever he's arrested, he's charged in court then released on bond and comes back with a different style of conning people," warned Sonko.
This is not the first time the flashy legislator is sending a warning to people against con men using his name.
Sonko has been warning Kenyans against anyone giving out loans through his name or anyone asking for a bribe before being served through his name.
Sonko has vowed on different occasions that he will fight against corruption in his county with all he has.
The first time governor wants to clean the city of all kinds of impunity to leave it a better place than he found it.
