Murathe shared a video of Oscar Sudi's speech on his official Facebook page days after the latter spoke at a funeral function in Uasin Gishu county and caption  it as 'Very boyish and primitive.'

The shared video shows Oscar Sudi lambasting ODM leaders led by Raila for attempting to use Dp Ruto's impeachment to divide Kenyans and drive a wedge between Kalenjin and Kikuyu communities, a move he argued might escalate into violence similar to the one witnessed after 2007 elections

Murathe has been leading an onslaught against leaders opposed to president Uhuru's stance on graft fight, noting that thieves have no space in the country and the ruling Jubilee party.

In his opinion, he perceived that those who were the war against corruption championed by the President might have been involved in stealing public resources and were only politicking to cover up their misdeeds.

On March 13, 2019, he posted a message on his official Facebook page, urging president's critics who were unsatisfied with graft war to quit Jubilee party.

Murathe wrote, "Those thieves who stole the money that was meant for dam construction should desist from insulting and calling our President names. If you want to quit the Jubilee party, you should do it immediately. We have no space to accommodate thieves."

Oscar Sudi was amongst a section of legislators who had been castigating the president for leading a biased graft war aimed at targeting individuals he believed were from the Kalenjin community.
