Kenyans on Twitter's love for their fellow countrymen has proved international media is now evident.

This follows the Tuesday attack at Riverside drive in Nairobi. Social media users, especially on Twitter, shared encouraging messages to those who were caught during the terrifying ordeal. 

Some of the victims took refuge in toilets at the office complex. Ron Ng'eno, a  communication expert who was caught during the terrifying attack, took on Twitter to reveal how the bad the situation was.

"I am hiding in the bathroom on the first floor of Grosvenor buildings. Terrorists are going room to room. Help," Ron Ngeno, he tweeted.

He even went ahead to make his last wish as he saw his last minutes on earth were approaching.

He added, "If I die, please tell my family I love them. I love you Caleb, Mark and Carol."

His numerous tweets shook the entire country with thousands of  Kenyans retweeting, replying and praying for him. Kenya security forces in collaboration with other specialized security experts were able to able evacuate a number of people, Ngeno being one of them.

Ngeno later took on social media to express his gratitude to those who stood by him during his worst moment. Twitter social exploded in joy as Kenyans thanked the police and citizens who had spread the word about their predicament and positions.
