While speaking in Kisii over the weekend, Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati revealed that part of the handshake agreement will be introduction of parliamentary system.

"It is not a secret anymore and those against it should better start preparing for it.

"We shall have Raila and president and Uhuru as Prime Minister," said Arati, a close ally of Raila.

Already, Raila is pushing for constitutional amendment even though Uhuru has remained quiet.

While attending Henry Obwocha's funeral last week, Raila insisted that the formation would help small communities ascend to power.

"We need to change a few things and this will help cure our historical problems," he stated.

DP Ruto has openly dismissed those calling for constitutional changes, a clear indication of a looming battle.

But in Nairobi on Wednesday, Uhuru warned politicians opposing his deal with Raila, insisting that 'its only him and Raila who knows the deep understanding of the deal'.
