Kenya is a country full of drama.
Politicians can do anything within their reach as long as it brightens their political future.
Among the dirty deals that Kenyan politicians do is allegedly faking academic degrees to attain the irreducible minimum qualifications as spelt out by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Among the many high profile politicians who have been reported to having fake degrees include;
1. Ali Bunow Korane
He is the incumbent Garissa governor.
He has been adversely mentioned as having forged a Masters Degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Nairobi.
UoN has since distanced itself from Korane's credentials.
2. Ferdinand Waititu
He is the current governor of Kiambu County.
He is said to be in possession of a first degree from Punjab University in India.
Waititu claims that he studied Bachelor of Economics (Finance Option).
Punjab University has since distanced itself from the said Waititu disclosing that it has never had a student as such in its admission database.
Other governors mentioned in fake certificate syndicates include Mike Sonko of Nairobi county and Hassan Joho of Mombasa.
