With every relationship, there are a series of myths which seemingly get credence after a breakup but they are just nothing more than scepticism.

1. Men aren't affected as women by a breakup

It is not true that men do not feel the pain after a breakup. They really do feel the same as women. Some end up committing suicide if they lose the person they ever loved.

2. You should not miss your partner

It does not matter for how long you have been in a relationship, it is normal to miss the person you shared time with. Do not feel guilty of missing them rather, acknowledge that it is no more between the two of you and move on.

3. You should have tried harder

It is easy to look back at your relationship and think you never tried your best to protect the love. Do not take it by yourself because a relationship needs sacrifice from both partners hence, you should not blame yourself entirely for the breakup.

4. You will never find love again

Just because things never worked out doesn't mean you will not fall in love and find someone else. Give yourself time and you will find someone who will make you feel happy and excited.
