How will you react when one of these fine days your boss calls you in his/her office and what comes from the mouth goes like "You are officially fired, collect your letter in the evening"?

Is there a story unfolding in your community? Let Hivisasa know

If you never anticipated such move, you will probably feel shocked and terrified how to survive without your 'only job'.

Unless you are working on your own project under the umbrella of self-employed, you can be fired any time and any day for a reason as well as for no reason.

Ryan Harwood, Chief Executive Officer of PureWow says fired employees should not be worried because "There are very few things in life that are worse than getting fired."

Harwood goes further to outline some plans that should be employed by fired employees for them to bounce back from the shock.

He listed out the following key factors to consider:

1. Assess the pros and cons of your workplace

He says one should list down all the stuff he liked and disliked at a previous workplace, and from it come out with your next move. Let those dislikes be an encouraging factor for you to move on.

2. Do your research

So that you don't end up landing another wrong job, you need to do your homework. This will ensure you land a dream job which will be a motivation for you to deliver the best.

3. Network like never before.

PureWow boss says this is the best time for one to network like a madman/woman. Get out and hustle, join the 'tanga tanga' (not political) team to secure another job and if you cannot secure any, then create one for yourself.

Harwood concludes that anyone should approach life with “everything happens for a reason” slogan.
