Not many Kenyans know about her, but the then Marsabit County Women Representative roiled social media for days on end in 2015 after she refused to shake President Uhuru's hand when he visited the county.
Shaking the hand of the head of state is something many would die for but not for Ms Nasra Ibrahim who opted to flash a salute at the president instead.
In 2017, Isiolo Women Rep Rehema Dida Jaldesa, did the same thing, refusing to shake the president's hand when he stretched it out to her.
But who is Nasra Ibrahim?
She is the former Marsabit County Women Representative who served from 2013 to 2017, losing his re-election to Sofia Sheikh Adan in the August 8, 2017 elections.
Her attempt to seek the nullification of the election of her successor has not succeeded.
Nasra Ibrahim did her primary and secondary school studies in Garissa.
She did her undergraduate and post-graduate studies in Sudan where she honed her proficiency in Arabic.
Her teaching experience includes serving as the principal of a Muslim girls school in Muranga before becoming the first Marsabit County Women Rep.
