The three teenage girls, including Mevies Imbaya, now say they will not be sitting for KCSE exams that they had registered for, opting to repeat.

“We have decided to go back to Form Three as this saga has wasted us in terms of our education," disclosed Mevies.

The decision follows a high-end meeting convened in Hurlingham, Nairobi on Monday. In the meeting, the two families also held in-depth talks that are envisaged to direct their next action in the separation saga.

In this year's national exams, the three girls were supposed to sit for their KCSE in November this year but their search for their biological roots has distracted them from their academic studies for months now.

Sharon was a form four candidate at Shikoti Girls High school in Kakamega, Melon at Kongoni School in Kakamega, while Mevies was to sit her KCSE at a school in Cherengany, Trans Nzoia county.

Parents of the trio are now calling on well-wishers seeking to offer support to the three girls’ education to knock on their doors.00

“I love my children very much and I thank God for them. The only wish I have is to find a well-wisher who will support their education,” stated Rosemary Onyango, the biological mother to Sharon and Melon.
