Gor Mahia coach Steven Polack warded off stiff competition from Sofapaka's John Baraza and inform Ulinzi Stars tactician; Ben Nyangweso to become the winner of the Month Award.
In a ceremony presented on Thursday, by the Fidelity Insurance at Jericho's Camp Toyoyo ground, Polack was crowned November Fidelity insurance coach of the month for the second time in a row; having received the accolade in October.
The coach exuded confidence amidst financial turmoil that has crippled his side.
He was happy with his approach of the game and urged fans that lack of money won't hinder them from retaining the KPL trophy for the fourth time in a row.
"The attitude of the players and their hard work on match-days has been brilliant and I am proud of them. People think we are vulnerable this season by virtue of the financial constraints but the boys have been proving them wrong. We still have matches in hand and we are taking each at a time. This award is a reflection of the work the players and technical bench have put in,” Polack said as he received the trophy without the players, who opted to stay away, according to the Star.
The Briton took home a trophy with a prize of Sh75,000 after brushing aside John Baraza and Benjamin Nyangweso who were runners-up.
