The property tussle over former Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa’s assets has escalated as two of his children now claim their lives are in danger.
The last born daughter of the late VP, Michelle Wamalwa, now alleges that she has been receiving death threats alongside her brother Derek Mboya after they went public over what is transpiring in their family over the assets of their late father, reports Citizen.
Michelle has filed a case against Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa in a bid to protect their family home in Karen, whose value is yet to be disclosed.
The tussle, which also involves 11 other members of the extended family is getting uglier despite Wamalwa insisting urging Michelle and Derek, who are the children of Wamalwa’s late wife Yvonne Wamalwa to be patient as the court addresses the matter.
Michelle, who allegedly dropped out of school in Australia due to lack of fees, now says that the CS and other members of the family want to take over the asset of their deceased father.
Wamalwa has, however, maintained that there is nothing to address when the matter is already in the corridors of Justice.
The children of the late VP claim that they are living in misery since that they have not benefited from the assets left behind by their late father.
The other children of the late VP led by Alice Muthoni Wamalwa, said to be first born daughter, have accused their step sister and brother of plotting to grab the family property.
