Renowned comedian and MC Felix Odiwuor better known by his stage moniker Jalangoo took to social media to mock embattled Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.
In an Instagram post on Friday night, Jalangoo made fun of the confusion and ignorance that the governor appeared to demonstrate during his grilling by the Senate Thursday.
"Me and Governor we say Goodnight! Let no one use the Senate to intimidate us. We will return with the official budget of Kiambu tomorrow. The one that was read yesterday was doctored, "Jalangoo's post read.
The Kiambu governor struggled to field pressing questions from Senator Kajwang' on the county's audit report which read like a national audit report.
Governor Waititu claimed ignorance about the expenditures in the audit report to the amusement of Kenya.
According to the report, millions of shillings were supposedly expended on the South Sudan peace process and facilitation of former president's.
Since the grilling, the governor has been subject to social media jokes as Kenyans come up with rib-breaking memes.
The governor is no stranger to being trolled.
Last year, he became the darling of trolls after he suggested that rivers should be moved away from structures as the state cracked down on buildings erected on riparian land.
