3 men are yet to come to terms after they were sodomised by 4 armed thugs who stole Sh30,000 from them.
The incident happened on Thursday night at Kioge village in Bogeka ward, Kisii County.
The victims, James Ong’ayo, Peter Makori and Daniel Mogendi said they had been working at a construction site for the past 1 week before the incident happened.
“We have been working at a construction site here for the last one week and we sleep in a temporary house. The 4 armed thugs raided the house at 11 pm, ordered us to undress before they sodomised us,” said Ong’ayo.
Ong’ayo added that efforts to have the thugs stop doing the heinous act on them didn’t bare fruits since they threatened to shoot them with a gun.
“We pleaded with them to stop but, in vain. They sodomised the 3 of us and later asked us to surrender all the money we had. We surrendered Sh30,000 which was left with us by the owner of the house to purchase building materials,” he added.
Confirming the incident, Nyakoe police boss Caleb Wesa said the victims reported the incident after the thugs escaped.
“The thugs escaped using a Toyota car registration number KBQ-307N. We are tracing them to Oyugis area,” said Wesa.
He called on members of the public to be calm as police are hunting down the suspects.
Wesa assured that police are doing everything possible to flush out criminals who are master minding theft in the region.
