Lawyer Miguna Miguna has said that Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga is not welcomed to attend the burial ceremony of liberation hero Onyango Oloo, because he has not contributed even a single shilling towards the funeral expenses.
Miguna, who was deported to Canada after taking part in the mock swearing in of Odinga, said the former Prime Minister is wealthy, but has chosen not to contribute towards the burial.
The former Nairobi Gubernatorial contestant insisted that Odinga should keep off the funeral by all means.
“Kenyans of goodwill have been contributing to Comrade @OnyangoOloo's funeral expenses and to be able to celebrate his life. @RailaOdinga, a wealthy billionaire con-man, has contributed zero. We will not allow him to attend Oloo's funeral to make noise when he abandoned Oloo,” he tweeted.
Miguna has been attacking Raila even since they parted ways after his controversial oath taking ceremony.
Oloo, a human rights activist, writer, and former political detainee died on June, 17 after a long battle with illness.
His burial arrangements are underway.
