Lawyer Cliff Ombeta has been trending in the last few days.
This is why: The renowned lawyer has been involved in two most recent cases, he has defended Mohamud Hussein Aden, a suspect in the attempted assassination of former Garissa County Finance CEC Idriss Muhktar and has been representing Migori Governor Okoth Obado.
His involvement in the two cases saw him trolled on social media with scores of people wondering why he had elected to represent individuals who were facing serious accusations and who many see as guilty.
Some accused him of being motivated by money more than anything else.
Mr Ombeta is not new to Kenyans as he has taken high profile cases before.
He was in the legal team that challenged President Uhuru's re-election and represented Miguna Miguna during the deportation saga.
It seems that the defence lawyer does not shy away from cases regardless of how controversial the cases may be.
