Stolen Pen is not only a photographer but he is also a talented poet whose passion for politics is unexplainable.

He decided to choose photography because he felt like it was the best way to express his ideas and to get the opportunity to enrich his social life. He also says that it started as a hobby which later grew into something big.

“It started as a hobby, the first phone I bought had the best camera and so I used to go on a photography date with my friends when I discovered my love for cameras,” he noted.

Through the business, Stolen Pen has experienced a lot since he gets to explore different places through which he has learnt to appreciate different cultures and get to make new friends.

“The best thing about this business is that you get to make new friends every day mostly ladies; slay queens. It also enables me to explore new places appreciating different cultures,” said Yano hilariously.

Even though the business is not a straight line due to stiff competition, stubborn customers and being crowded by a bevvy of ladies, Stolen Pen is able to make Sh3,000 on a good day, cumulating to Sh90,000 per month. This also depends on the number of events he covers.

“Other people will belittle you, some will never appreciate your work. Evading ladies who keep crushing on you just because of the camera is also a challenge; being a single lad like me who is not ready to mingle,” said Stolen Pen.

Despite the challenges, he is always motivated, loyal and appreciative clients.
