Lugari MP Ayub Savula lost his daughter, Joan Chiri Atugah on Thursday. Joan who is 30 years old diet at Nairobi hospital while undergoing treatment.
President Uhuru Kenyatta sent condolences message and encouragement to MP Savula whose daughter had been at the hospital for two weeks.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time of sorrow and grief. It is our humble prayer that God will give you strength to bear the loss," Uhuru's message to Savula read in part.
The head of state also condoled the family of former Bumachoge MP Zephaniah Nyangwara who died on Thursday 27.
Among other leaders, Former Kakamega Senator Boni khalwale also condoled with Savula's family.
"Hon Savula, we are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers for loss of your daughter. poleni sana," Khalwale stated in his message to Savula.
Others who joined the MP in grief were ODM director of communications Philip Etale. He passed his condolences message to Savula on Facebook.
"Pole Sana hon Ayub savula on passing on of your daughter Joan.Be strong ndugu. It is well," encouraged Etale. Other Kenyans also posted there condolences message on Facebook praying for grace and strength to Savula's family.
