Kennedy Odhiambo Okudhe has written an application to the High Court seeking the punishment of the county boss and his sister Risper Nyagoy.

He is accusing the two of dishonoring an October 11 High Court ruling directing them to include the names of their nephews and nieces as beneficiaries in an ongoing inheritance row.

Okudhe and his brother Geoffrey Omondi moved to court earlier in the year demanding a piece of the Sh 200 million estate left by Nyong'o's father Hesbon Shimei Nyong'o.

Okudhe has maintained that the Governor and Nyagoy are also yet to surrender the estate account books, in contravention to the ruling which gave them a 45-day window.

Delivering the ruling, Kisumu High Court Judge Tripsisa Cherere also directed the two to surrender the books dating back to 2016, 45 days from the day of the ruling.

Okudhe now wants them subjected to a civil jail for half a year over the alleged offence, reports the Citizen Digital.

The property includes pieces of land in Kisumu and Nairobi counties which were left by Shimei who died without a will in November 2006.
