Majority of Kenyans believe all that is wrong in the country is caused by President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga, Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi, observes.
Saying it is only 1 percent that hold contrary opinion, the vocal lawyer said the rest of citizens attribute vices such as corruption and poverty to the trio.
"As we welcome 2020...just reflect on the CONVENTIONAL WISDOM that 99% of adult Kenyans believe ALL OUR PROBLEMS/corruption/absence of the rule of law/poverty/bleak future are caused by just 3 men...H.E Uhuru, Hon William Ruto and Hon Raila," he tweeted on Tuesday.
Abdullahi urged Kenyans to stop blind loyalty and tribal hatred and chose to totally rally behind and dump the three senior-most political leaders.
"I THINK Kenya will have a GREAT 2020 if ALL of US withdraw our TRIBAL LOYALTIES/SUPPORT and stop our TRIBAL HATRED...and be OBJECTIVE in dealing with, supporting or opposing these 3 GENTLEMEN...H.E Uhuru, Hon DP Ruto and Hon Raila. BLIND LOYALTY and HATRED will be our undoing..." he said.
In another post, Ahmednasir accused the political class of being selfish and self-centred, noting leaders rarely discuss issues that are close or affect the common citizens.
"98% of speech/monologue/threats/diatribe by the Kenyan politicians...is about power/politics/elections/tribal consciousness....when was the last time OUR leaders talked to US about science, culture and the arts, history, environment, religion, society... etc..." Abdullahi added.
