President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent his condolence message to the families of those who lost their lives and injured due to a fuel tank explosion at Morogoro town in Tanzania.
In a long tweet on Saturday, the head of state assured that he will stand with Tanzania during this trying moment.
“To my Brother, President John Pombe Magufuli, may I assure you of my Government’s support during this trying moment,” said the President.
Uhuru also wished a quick recovery to those who got injured from the explosion.
“My prayer is that God will comfort those who have lost their loved ones in this unfortunate accident,”he said.
“I also pray for quick recovery to those nursing injuries and are admitted in various hospitals,” he added.
At least 0 people lost their lives from the Saturday morning explosion and over 0 sustaining injuries.
These people had rushed to collect fuel from a tanker which had overturned.
Unfortunately, it caught fire while residents are still at the scene.
A similar incidence happened in Kenya 10 years ago. Many people lost their lives at Sachangwan in Nakuru County when a fuel tanker they were collecting furl from caught fire.
