Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has denied shooting down Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria's bills in Parliament.
Duale says that Kuria's claims that he is frustrating his bills are unfounded and malicious.
According to the Garissa Township MP, he has no power to reject anyone’s Bill.
The Jubilee legislator claims that Kuria is being led by malice adding that he will not be dragged into the legislator’s political circus.
“Let Moses Kuria prove that I shoot down or rejected his NGO’s Bill, Coffee Bill or the Interest Rates Bill as he claims,” the Garissa MP told journalists at Parliament Buildings in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Duale further rubbished claims that he is pushing for Kuria’s removal from the Budget and Transport committees.
The Garissa MP indicated that he has no power to remove any member of a parliamentary committee.
Duale, however, maintained that the party will not tolerate rogue members who want to cause disunity.
On Tuesday, Kuria hit out at Duale accusing him of plotting for his removal from House committee.
The Gatundu South legislator further accused Duale of allegedly opposing his proposals to the Building Bridges committee.
Kuria claimed that Duale has been allegedly frustrating him since 2014.
