Video of a South African pastor resurrecting a dead person has gone viral, and Kenyans on social media could not buy it.
Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries church in South Africa brought a man back to life during a church service.
In a video making rounds on social media, the 'dead' man in a coffin is drawn from a waiting car that looked like an ambulance.
The coffin is then opened while Pastor Lukau and his followers prayed, sang and spoke in tongues as a way of calling upon the 'holy spirits' to show up and resurrect the man.
It took less than five minutes of prayers before the 'dead man' moved his head and finally woke up from the world of doom.
One woman who was at the scene identified herself as the 'dead man's' landlady revealed that the man got sick on Friday when he started coughing.
They rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead and taken to the mortuary the same day.
After prayers, the man rose from the coffin with his mouth and eyes wide open in disbelief. He was then offered a meal.
The 'miracle' has so far attracted several criticisms from different social media platforms, and Kenyans are amongst the surprised individuals.
