Orange Democratic Movement party treasurer Timothy Bosire says he is not in a hurry to start campaigning for gubernatorial seat but he will handle issues 'normally'.
Mr Bosire, who served as Kitutu Masaba MP, is at pole position to succeed Governor John Nyagarama, who retires after 2022 polls.
While Bosire is yet to declare his bid formally, he has been reaching out to all four constituencies, something viewed as a strategy to familiarize himself with the terrains.
In an interview on Wednesday, Bosire said ODM leader Raila Odinga will give directions before politicians start preparing for 2022 polls.
"There are many things that will happen before 2022. We are waiting for a referendum and we will have new realignments. We have to slow down a bit.
"When everything has been fixed as Mzee said, we can now be able to plan for the future. For now, let everything remain normal. We shall navigate when that time comes," he said.
Besides Bosire, Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has also declared interest to succeed Governor John Nyagarama. The second term MP has been in active campaigns.
Also interested are former gubernatorial seat runners up Walter Nyambati, former MPs Mwancha Okioma, James Gesami, Anasi Onyancha and Joseph Kiangoi.
