He has since managed to brand himself a hustler, as he seeks to resonate with the majority poor Kenyans, even proceeding to name his palatial Karen residence "the hustler's mansion.

At the same time, his camp has managed to brand his possible rivals "dynasties," since their fathers were either presidents or deputy presidents or ministers inprevious regimes.

The tag is mostly used to refer to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, former Premier Raila Odinga and Amani National C congress (ANC) chief Musalia Mudavadi.

However, as much as his allies attempt to bring out the " dynasties" as people who should be shunned, obviously with his blessings, it is questionable how the four suddenly became bad people yet he is on record rallying behind some of them for the presidency in the past.

In 1992 and 1997, for instance, he was in former President Daniel Moi's camp, before joining hands with Uhuru in 2002, when the nation was unanimously on the side of Mwai Kibaki.

In 2007, he was part of Raila's Pentagon, alongside Najib Balala, Joe Nyagah and Charity Ngilu, before reuniting with Uhuru in 2013 and 2017, where they scored twin wins.

Consequently, the DP comes out as a fraudulent and insincere man who is only fighting the group not because they don't deserve leadership, but solely because he thinks it is his time to lead.

It raises queations as to why he never saw them as dynasties then and though they might really be a threat to him, it would've been better to fight them in a better way.
