Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga established the BBI taskforce after their 2018 truce, which was tasked to come up with a solution to the nation's recurrent leadership issues.

Speaking when he met elected leaders and politicians from the Mt Kenya region at the Sagana State Lodge on Friday, the president hinted that he too has not seen the report.

He said that just like other Kenyans, he is hoping that the report includes specific proposals, including measures to completely block corrupt leaders from leadership.

"I would want to see how we make all votes equal. I would also want to see in the report that all corrupt individuals are not even as close at 10 steps to leadership," he said.

He also hoped that the list of proposals includes suggestions to do with eradicating post-election violence, matters inclusivity and total war on the troublesome corruption menace.

He also wants proposals on equal share and distribution of resources.

This also comes amid opposition from a number of area politicians allied to his deputy, with Uhuru bashing those making guesses about proposals in the report.

Uhuru stated that he is not eyeing any benefit in the same, adding that whatever is contained in the report is solely for the benefit of Kenyans.

"They even said that Uhuru will be the prime minister and I do not know who will be president," added the head of state.

Speaking in Kibra last week, Raila said that after the poll, the BBI report reception and discussion shall be the next agenda.
