In an interview with KTNs Point Blank on Wednesday, Amollo said that it is evident Uhuru and Ruto are not speaking the same language ahead of 2022.

Amollo alluded that Ruto has been opposing the President behind the scenes whenever he makes any declaration. He noted that the unity that existed between the two leaders is now a thing of the past.

"For every other thing the President says, the deputy president seems to edge away from it, " he said.

He, however, dismissed the possibility of the president firing Ruto saying that "In the Kenyan law right now, there is no mechanism for firing the deputy president."

He also said that the relationship between the two leaders is likely to cost the Jubilee government as far as the delivery of the promises it made to the people before the last general elections are concerned.

He asked the leaders to sit down and address the grievances of each of their camp.
