1. Gladys Wanga
The Homa Bay County Women Representative is among vocal Nyanza fame politicians.
A close ally of Raila Odinga, Wanga will be a name to watch even as there is a claim that she could bid for a governor seat.
2. Rosa Buyu
The first term Kisumu woman rep continues to make a name for herself in Nyanza politics.
A human rights defender, Buyu is likely to bid for a top seat in the 2022 general election.
Also to watch is Millie Odhiambo. She is among vocal and controversial female politicians from Nyanza region.
A close ally of Raila Odinga, the second term Mbita MP could bid for a top seat in 2022.
3. Pamela Odhiambo
She is serving her first term as Migori County Women Representative.
A critic of Governor Okoth Obado, she is likely to bid for a senior political position in 2022.
These Nyanza iron ladies are also expected to push for Raila’s presidency should he opt to contest in 2022 election.
