A section of MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto have vowed to 'hit back' should an impeachment motion emerge in parliament.
In an exclusive interview, ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire said Ruto's impeachment plans were unstoppable adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta's agenda could be achieved if he kicks out the DP.
"He is sabotaging service deliver and his impeachment is unstoppable. That is the only way Uhuru can deliver his promises," said the former Kitutu Masaba MP.
Over the weekend, a London based risk analysis organisation predicted Ruto's impeachment, basing its findings on proposed lifestyle audit which it argues, Ruto may not make it.
And South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro warned that such a motion could be 'noisy' and Ruto's camp will 'retaliate'.
"If it is about impeachment, let them be prepared for the drama. Let us stop these witch hunt. We shall gang against such a motion," he warned.
Kitutu Masaba's Shadrack Mose added: "Service delivery should not be accompanied by witch hunt. Let them respect the DP or we make the situation ungovernable."
On Tuesday, Jubilee party cancelled PG in which Ruto's allies had reportedly tasked the president to explain his collaboration with Raila and his deliberate moves to undermine the DP in his speeches.
While Ruto has persistently denied rift in Jubilee, a section of leaders among them Kipchumba Murkomen have openly admitted infighting.
