Nandi Senator has sent out a strong message to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the wake of the alleged audio recording of Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju and Former Limuru MP George Nyanja.
Speaking in Mount Elgon on Saturday, the outspoken legislator called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to leave politicians alone and deal with State House operatives.
"We as Jubilee we want to say, the theatrics by Tuju and other thugs disturbing President Uhuru and trying to divide Jubilee along the lines of tribe, we rebuke them. I want to tell the president to us politicians alone. Those disturbing you are those in State House who instead of working are engaging in politics. Deal with the likes of Tuju."
The alleged phone recording has raised political temperatures within the governing Jubilee Party ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Politicians allied to Deputy President Dr William Ruto lashed out at the Jubilee SG over what they said was his plot to sow divisions in the party.
