North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has differed with Interior CS Fred Matiang'i over his tough orders he issued against foreigners.
The lawmaker opposed Matiang'i directive that foreigners should apply for work permits from their respective countries before they will be allowed to work in the country.
According to the lawmaker, the though orders will scare private investors from other countries from investing in the country.
"The country will lose investors over Matiang'i's new orders. I suggest that foreigners should be allowed to process for the working permits while in the country," he noted.
Nyamoko said the issue of foreigners being criminals should handled by the police.
The legislator said unnecessary directives will see the country losing foreign income.
"We have police officers earning salaries who should work around the clock to fight terrorism. Matiang's orders may end up making the security officers lazy," he added.
