The second-time governor said that he will ensure there is integrity in the leadership of this nation.

He spoke during an interview with KTN on Thursday.

“This country needs a pilot that is gonna take that aircraft from just taxiing to actually letting it fly... As President, I would offer my concept of Maendeleo Chap Chap; a clean system with integrity", said he.

Recently, Mutua lauded Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for promising to back the Jubilee regime.

He said that the move was well-thought, adding that it will transform the nation. He also said that his support for President Uhuru led him to form his political outfit.

“I stood with Uhuru before, during and after the 2017 General Elections which did not augur well with Wiper and I took a lot of criticism for it,” Mutua said.

His entry into the race is likely to complicate matters for Kalonzo who has also declared that he will be vying for the post.
