NTV news anchor Trevor Ombija on Monday morning helped rescue a truck driver who involved in a road accident.
The driver was stuck in the wreckage following the accident that occurred in Mbale, Vihiga County.
The NTV crew was returning back to Nairobi from Kakamega where they were covering the just concluded Mashujaa day celebrations.
According to reports, the truck was headed to Kakamega from Mombasa.
The NTV crew was focused to intervene after witnessing the accident that involved the driver and the conductor

It is not clear if the crew helped the injured seek medical attention.
After the accident, residents were seen scrambling for bags of rice without put into considering the safety of victims.
