Ongwae says the County is ready to host the games scheduled for August 12-18 at the Gusii Stadium.

Speaking during a live interview on Egesa FM’s Boka Boka breakfast show, the Governor said preparations to host the event had been finalised citing the Gusii Stadium that had undergone a major upgrade.

Ongwae invited all participants from the 47 counties who will be pitching camp in Kisii Town to take time off the games and sample the hospitality and rich cultural heritage in Kisii. 

The Governor also challenged the business community to take advantage of the huge influx of visitors and do business.
