In a tweet Friday, the former Nairobi governor aspirant accused opposition leader Raila Odinga, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for the nation's woes.

He said that the group has failed to transform the nation despite holding power for many years and is to blame for among others, the rising levels of unemployment.

Miguna advised Kenyans to shun the three and their colleagues who played any role during the leadership of the Nyayo era which collapsed in 2002.

"If you have been tortured, maimed or exiled, or if you have a relative, friend or colleague who has been killed, tortured, maimed or exiled, you have no justified reason to support @UKenyatta, @RailaOdinga, @WilliamsRuto or any of the other KANU Orphans. Fight for justice," he wrote.

He said that the same goes to Kenyans living in poverty, urging them to stand with his calls for an overhaul of the leadership system in the country.

"If you are an unemployed or underemployed high school, college or university graduate, or if you live in a slum in Kenya you have no reason to support @UKenyatta, @RailaOdinga, @WilliamsRuto or any of the other KANU Orphans. Stand up and fight for your rights, freedom and justice," he added.

Miguna has blamed the trio for his woes, including his condemnation to Canada after his deportation over a nationality row with the immigration in early 2018.

He has repeatedly claimed that he was deliberately exiled to gag him due to his unending criticisms on the state and Raila, his former ally.
