Upcoming Kenyan socialite Assumpta Waeni who shot into the limelight due to her striking resemblance with Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobeto has come out to accuse popular comedian Eric Omondi of trying to seduce her.
Her confession comes almost a month after a controversial video of the socialite and the comedian went viral on social media.
"The reason why I have decided to post this is to make it clear to Madini Classic and the entire country that yes Eric Omondi wooed me (alinikatia), he invited me out on several occasions but I did not go (sikuenda)," Assumpta wrote on Instagram.
Assumpta had come out to defend fast-rising Kenyan musician Madini Classic after it was alleged that Omondi conned the rising singer money totalling to Sh60,000.
On Friday, Madini Classic was moved to tears during an interview on Milele FM after he was questioned on the allegations he had levelled against the comedian.
The two are alleged to have signed a deal in which Omondi was to help the rising star by popularizing his songs. The comedian is, however, alleged to have disappeared shortly after.
Assumpta and Madini are rumoured to be dating. She was featured as a video vixen in his song dubbed 'Assumpta'
