A hacked phone can disclose one's secret information to an unauthorized people, the hackers, including your banking information, your private photos, the sites you visit and name them. 

It is therefore critical to take action quickly when your phone is hacked, experts advise how to tell your phone, or tablet is hacked:

1. Your phone starts receiving and sending weird messages

A hacker might be controlling your phone from remote, making it send weird messages either to your contacts or receive similar messages from a doubtful source. Always report the case to necessary authority.

2. Your smart seems slower than before

Your phone might be running background apps and malware sent to you from the hackers, which will automatically reduce the speed and functionality of your phone. The same can also happen when one updated his or her operating system, and not necessarily a sign of hacking.

3. You notice new apps you did not install

Hackers can send a link that when clicked it automatically installs spy apps on one's phones. 

4. Your device gets hotter 

This can also be caused by physical dame to your device, always visit an authorized customer care when this problem arises.

5. Increased data usage 

A hacked phone maybe having install apps working in the background while using your date. They are not easily restricted from accessing your data. 

6. You cannot access your data, information

A hacker can decide to encrypt your data making them inaccessible from your phone.  

7. Your phone runs out of memory 

This is where a phone cannot install the apps you want, it cannot open received documents, it keeps on alerting the user 'no memory'. The memory might be compromised by hackers' malware and backdoor. 

8. Some apps stop working properly 

The apps you have been using on daily basis starts misbehaving, it shows something is against is functionality

9. Your phone attempts to visit 'sites you never visit' 

For instance child pornography sites. It indicates it is being controlled remotely.
