Before losing last year's a section of Kiambu residents portrayed Kabogo as an arrogant and egocentric leader, who would rarely listen to people.
In an interview with Jeff Koinange recently on JKL Show, Kabogo however dismissed the description attributed to him, adding that it was a narrative advanced by his critics.
"Do I really look arrogant? That is s narrative that was being advanced by people who wanted me to toe to their line. I can assure you that even right now, my people want be back in leadership."
The last one year has seen Mr Kabogo gain popularity with Waititu struggling to stamp his authority in terms of development.
