Nairobi politician Miguna Miguna has launched a scathing attack on Baringo Senator Gideon Moi after he endorsed the March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga.
This is after Moi, who is also the KANU chairman, lauded the unity deal between the former sworn political enemies and praised them for 'triumphing over selfishness and personal ambitions' for the sake of national unity.
"The handshake was a momentous opportunity for the country as it set the nation on the trajectory of national healing, reconciliation," the Senator said in his New Year message.
But Miguna said the son of retired President Daniel Arap Moi, was 'brainless' for endorsing the 'handcheque' which, according to him, had undermined efforts of seeking justice for election victims who perished in the poll pitting Uhuru against Raila.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the deported lawyer further claimed the seemingly political union between Moi, Uhuru and Raila (dynasties) was a plot to take the country to dictatorship, which he said Kenyans will reject.
"Gideon Moi is completely brainless just like the other dynastic imbeciles. The hand-cheque subverted justice for those killed and maimed after the 2017 electoral frauds. It institutionalized impunity. Trying to make Kenya a one-party tyranny won't work," posted the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate.
