KTN has suffered yet another blow with reports indicating that celebrated news anchor Betty Kyalo is set to quit the Mombasa-road based channel.
According to the reports, Kyalo has tendered her resignation and is set to join K24 soon. This will be yet another blow to the station, which has already lost Dennis Okari, Mashrima Kapombe and Yvonne Okwara to Royal Media.
Kyalo is set to partner with Richard Kagoe at K24, with the station's numbers having nose-dived in the last few months.
In the recent days, presenters Zindzi Kibiku and Akisa Wandera have been the news hour personalities as Betty prepared to leave the 24-hour news channel.
Betty has been among the shining lights for KTN and her exit will indeed hurt the station, which has suffered from a mass exit in the last few months.
