The shop is located in Kutus Town.

Anthony Mbogo who is the area OCPD said that the cartons had over 700,000 papers for rolling bhang locally known as 'riz' or 'rizla'.

“The illegal rolling papers are known as rizla and Kabare ward MCA Chomba Nyaga has recorded a statement at Kutus patrol base,” Mbogo said as quoted by Citizen Digital.

The MCA, however, pointed out that the rolling papers were not his but of an unidentified customer who had left at his shop.

“A customer left the cartons to my worker but after staying long I informed the police officers,” he explained.

Police are now investigating the incident to ascertain the association between the MCA and the said customer.
