Her name came into limelight at first on Wednesday when her neighbours at Ruaka noticed the vehicle reportedly used by assailants, in which her husband is believed to have been one of them.

And since then, Kemunto has been on the run, with place struggling to locate her. She last posted on Facebook on Monday, hours to the attack where she advertised households, with her impending exit from the estate.

The Neighbouring Somalia remains the most probable hideout. This is where she reportedly stayed with her slain husband for few years before moving to Kenya. She may have fled when the attack took place.

And again, with the whereabouts of her relatives still remaining a mystery, she may have also sneaked to the US, where her two brothers reportedly work and stay.

The third possible place could be in Nairobi, Ruai where she was born and raised. With no contacts that can be used to trace her, Kemunto may have returned to the place where her mother has lived for years.

And Gusii region remains another possible hideout. In 2016, Kemunto travelled upcountry where she connected with her relatives in Kisii. Maybe, she has relatives who could have accommodated her.

The most final and likely place could be in the Northeastern part of the country and coastal areas. Whereas it's not accurate to link those regions with terror, more often than not, they have been used as breeding grounds for extremism.
