People have always expected their photos to look great not knowing the techniques involved in getting good photos.

Here are simple tips to look good in photos;

Put on your best smile

A good smile is always that genuine smile you put on. Having a natural smile for a photo shoot will give you excellent photos. However, try smiling differently and decide which one looks good for you in photos. You can even ask your friends to decide which smile suits you best and settle for it.

Avoid direct light

Light is a great enemy of the camera. When taking a photo, always avoid direct sunlight which affects the camera’s lens. More so, direct light on you might affect your facial expression making your best smile go away.

Avoid direct contact with the camera

When taking a photo, don’t look straight at the camera. For some people, to get great photos, they look slightly above the lens while others give the camera their best side of the face. This helps them get the best photo ever.

Get close

Great photos are taken when you are close enough to someone. This increases the sharpness of the photo revealing every detail as it is supposed to be. if your photo isn't showing out well, move a step forward or backwards depending on how the photo looks then take a new one. Distance matters when taking good photos.

Get ready

Always be ready before the photographer takes your photos. Sometimes, he/she should ask for permission before taking your photos. Photos taken without your permission might look bad. However, when you are ready for a photo and you let your camera person know, he/she will get the best photo of you. Always be ready before taking a photo.
