Former Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti has thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing her as Cheif Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Transport.
"I thank the Almighty God for his boundless grace. I also thank His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta for giving me this opportunity to serve the people of this great country as the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Transport," said Ndeti on Tuesday.
"To my party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and the Rt Hon. Prime Minister Raila Odinga thank you for the advice and support too, the unity and inclusivity debate the two of you and President Uhuru initiated in 2018 is already bearing fruits," she added.
She was among the new entrants to Jubilee's administration after a major Cabinet reshuffle that saw Mwangi Kiunjuri sacked from the Agriculture docket.
Uhuru also appointed former Nyeri Senator Mutahi Kagwe as the new Health CS while Betty Maina was appointed to head the Trade docket.
