The implementation of the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) report has remained a farfetched dream.

Before the last general election, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga promised that he would implement the report if elected as the Kenyan president.

Raila's failure to clinch the seat has since seen the report remain underground with no one talking about the same.

Though it remains unclear whether the report will be implemented, there are several leaders mentioned in it.

The leaders have, however, maintained that they are innocent.

It is worth noting that the Ukambani region has not been left behind in the report.

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, ex-Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze, and former Kitui Senator David Musila are among the leaders mentioned in the report.

The leaders have been facing a backlash from certain regions due to their names featuring in the report.

Kalonzo has been accused of grabbing huge tracts of land at Thaloni while Kitui Senator David Musila allegedly planned, ordered, tortured and forcefully evicted Nzalae residents from the area.

The report also mentioned the late Nyenze over land grabbing, claims he rubbished on several accounts before his demise.

The TJRC report remains unimplemented.
