The group of seven suspects promised to award the businessman state tenders.

Taking to his Twitter account on Tuesday, the vocal former Starehe MP aspirant alleged that politicians receive bribes and that’s why the businessman was conned.

“Fake President @UKenyatta' cons businessman Sh80 million - Police. It's possible the conned businessman has bribed for tenders before, he knew politicians like Uhuru are bribed cash & in advance. Which bank allowed him to withdraw that much as hard cash?” said Boniface Mwangi

Officials from Sameer Group of Companies were conned the huge amount of money by these artistic conmen who mimicked the Head of States voice to near perfection.

Responding to Boniface Mwangi’s tweet, controversial lawyer and former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna said:

“They carry our cash in gunnysacks and keep them stashed in their homes, bunkers, offices and corrupt lawyers' client accounts. Why do you think an incompetent, incoherent and functionally illiterate @ahmednassirlaw is wealthy yet he has no ability to practice law? #MeraliExposed,” said Miguna Miguna.
